Our Mission 

CMDA of WNY is a local chapter of the Christian Medical and Dental Associations, a  national professional organization.  The local chapter exists, to motivate, educate, and encourage health professionals to love and honor God by:

 Knowing Christ and living out His character in their homes, work, communities, and  around the world

Pursuing professional competence and Christ-like compassion in their daily work

Improving patient care through the integration of faith and health when appropriate

Advancing Biblical principles in bioethics and health to the Church and society

Our Beliefs

         The CMDA of WNY endorses and abides by the following personal statement of faith held by the National CMDA organization.  However, this is not required for participation in CMDA meetings and activities.  Anyone, regardless of their faith or beliefs, is welcome to attend CMDA events.

CMDA STATEMENT OF FAITH

Trusting in the Lord Jesus Christ as my Savior, I believe in the following:

  1. I believe in the divine inspiration, integrity, and final authority of the Bible as the Word of God.

  2. I believe in the unique Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ.

  3. I believe in the representative and substitutionary sacrificial death of our Lord Jesus Christ as the necessary atonement for our sins.

  4. I believe in the presence and power of the Holy Spirit in the work of regeneration.

  5. I believe in the resurrection of the crucified body of our Lord, and that blessed hope, His personal return.

  6. I believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and unjust and the everlasting punishment of the lost.
